About
I build modern web applications and AI-driven solutions with a strong emphasis on React, Next.js and TypeScript.
I work daily with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, combining them with solid engineering and UX judgment to build sustainable, performant, secure and accessible applications. Accessibility is one of my specialties: I build and audit interfaces against WCAG 2.2 AA and know the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549 well.
Certifications include “Claude 101”, “Claude Code in Action” and “AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations” (Anthropic Education), plus Udemy courses (2022) on JavaScript, Clean Code, CSS, Next.js & React and Docker & Kubernetes (Academind).
I shoot both film and digital; other interests include AI and emerging tech, economics and current affairs, travel, road cycling and learning languages. Photography in particular feeds how I think about visuals and interfaces.

Working on the LYNX trading platform, the application clients use to invest and trade, with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Component development in Storybook, with accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) in mind. AI-assisted development is central to the work, with AI coding agents such as Claude Code in daily use. Currently learning Java to contribute to the backend as well.

Improved and digitized processes by developing Next.js applications such as CourtBudget for managing operating budgets. Built Power BI data visualizations and managed SharePoint environments for the judiciary.

Primarily frontend development during the rebranding of sparonline.be. Built public commercial websites: LegalSquare, Gronddepot. Developed several modules of the LegalSquare case-management application. Wrote E2E tests with Playwright for LegalSquare, SPAR and other projects. Managed LinkedIn marketing for the company.

Frontend development on eGovFlow, a digitization platform for government – including a messaging module for communication between citizens and local authorities. Introduced Tailwind CSS and Vite in the eGovFlow project. Frontend work on Scan Search Online (digital city archive) and Expertcenter (trainer platform).

Software Development
Full-stack development with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, TanStack, Angular and React Native. Backends and APIs with Convex, Hono.js, Supabase, GraphQL, Hasura, Node.js, Express and .NET Core; components in Storybook; testing with Playwright, Vitest and Jest; cloud with Vercel, AWS, Docker, GCP and Azure.
UX Design
UX-led design in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), turning user needs into clear flows and interfaces.
Web Accessibility
Building and auditing interfaces against WCAG 2.2 AA: semantic HTML, ARIA where it adds something, keyboard and screen-reader testing, and audits with practical remediation. Well versed in the European Accessibility Act, which has applied since 28 June 2025, and in the EN 301 549 standard.
AI & Machine Learning
AI-assisted development and code review with Cursor, Claude Code and Codex, backed by Anthropic Education certifications and daily use in real projects.
Data & Analytics
Data visualization and product analytics with Power BI, PostgreSQL, PostHog and Google Analytics, focused on useful insights and clear dashboards.
Photography
Analog and digital photography, including promotional and marketing work (e.g. travel sector).
